What you bring to the table:

David graduated from the University of British Columbia, first with a Bachelors of Science in Integrated Sciences and then with a Bachelors of Science in Physiotherapy.  David has built his practice in the areas of orthopaedics and sports injury rehabilitation.  He has earned his Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy and his Acupuncture certification (CAFCI) in addition to ongoing training in Manual Therapy.  He has worked with various athletes of all levels in numerous sport settings, from the Pro Rodeo Circuit to community beach soccer tournaments.  Currently, David spends a good portion of the year on the World Cup circuit as physiotherapist for the Canadian Ski Cross team as they prepare for the 2010 Olympics.  His previous assignments include traveling with the Canadian men’s Alpine Ski team and Vancouver Whitecaps men’s soccer team.  David is a former collegiate and national-level 400-metre hurdler and former club Track & Field coach.  In his free time, David is an avid snowboarder, kite boarder and basketball player. In addition to his clinical and sports involvement, David has maintained his academic ties to UBC, as he works with physiotherapy students as a Teaching Assistant in Gross Anatomy.
