One On One With Davey

What are your goals for 2010?
My goals for 2010 are to be on the podium, as many times as I can, I want to be the one the field chases.

How did you get into your sport (i.e. other Olympians in family?)
I saw Ski Cross on T.V. soon after I had retired from Alpine racing, and just knew that this was a sport I could really do well in. I love the head to head action and the elimination style racing.

How were you impacted by where you grew up?
I have always had the sport of skiing around me. My father directed the Whistler Ski School for many years. Skiing has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember.

What do you consider of one of your biggest accomplishments to date?
Seeing my daughter (Ava) take her first few steps. Then, it would have to be my first ever World Cup victory at Deer Valley, U.S.A. Last season. It was validation in a way, I have always fought for it and that one proved to me that I could do it and do it well!
