Today the Team has announced the establishment of the “Wu-Tang Club” and is opening up participation to the general public to show their support for the Team.

A "Wu-Tang" is a very difficult feature to navigate, consisting of a near vertical ramp of 10 feet or more , with a flat top and a near vertical landing, most often placed at the start of a Ski Cross course. It is a great symbol of the challenges and successes the CSXT has faced on its journey to the Olympics.

Positioned as the best in the world, the Canadian Ski Cross Team (CSXT) is heading into the final stretch before the 2010 winter Olympics on home soil. The Team is excited to announce a major fundraising initiative dubbed "The Wu-Tang Club" which they hope will assist in reaching the podium next month in Vancouver.

Over its short history the CSXT time won 19 World Cup Podiums in 2009, two Winter X Games Medals, and a Gold and Bronze medal at the 2009 World Championships on its journey to the Olympics. “These podium spots clearly demonstrate the tremendous depth of ski talent on the CSXT,” he added. “The first part of its mandate has been achieved, establishing itself as the best Ski Cross team in the World.
